(SGGPO).- Thành công vang dội tại doanh thu phòng vé, bom tấn Star Wars: The Force Awakens liên tiếp đón nhận tin vui khi dẫn đầu đề cử tại giải thưởng MTV Movie Awards với 11 đề cử.

Bộ phim với doanh thu hơn 2 tỷ USD này có mặt tại hầu hết các hạng mục quan trọng: Bộ phim của năm, Dàn diễn viên xuất sắc cùng các đề cử dành cho cá nhân.
Ngôi sao đột phá người Anh Daisy Ridley, 23 tuổi với vai chính trong phim nhận cùng lúc 4 đề cử: Nữ diễn viên chính xuất sắc, Anh hùng xuất sắc, Ngôi sao đột phá và màn chiến đấu xuất sắc. Ngoài ra, ngôi sao 23 tuổi của phim John Boyega cũng có trong tay các đề cử: Ngôi sao đột phá, Màn trình diễn hành động xuất sắc cho vai diễn Stormtrooper Finn.
Tại Oscar 2016 vừa qua, Star Wars: The Force Awakens đã ra về tay trắng sau khi nhận 5 đề cử kể cả ở các hạng mục được kỳ vọng như: Hiệu ứng hình ảnh hay dựng phim. Chính vì thế, tại MTV Movie Awards, phim kỳ vọng sẽ tạo nên cơn lốc giải thưởng.
Xếp sau Star Wars 7 là Deadpool với 8 đề cử, Avengers: Age of Ultron có 6 đề cử. 3 bộ phim nói trên sẽ cùng cạnh tranh hạng mục quan trọng: Phim hay nhất cùng với các đối thủ: Creed, Jurassic World, Straight Outta Compton.
Năm nay, tài tử Leonardo DiCaprio hứa hẹn tiếp tục đại thắng khi có trong tay hai đề cử: Nam diễn viên xuất sắc và Cảnh chiến đấu đẹp mắt nhất trong The Revenant.
Một điều khá thú vị, MTV Movie Awards là giải thưởng hoàn toàn do khán giả bình chọn, vì vậy, tính chuyên môn nghệ thuật không phải tiêu chí hàng đầu. “Đó đều là những tác phẩm bom tấn được khán giả yêu chuộng và phải xếp hàng để xem. Chúng có thể là những bộ phim về siêu anh hùng, hài kịch, khoa học viễn tưởng, hành động giả tưởng...” – giám đốc sản xuất của chương trình Casey Patterson chia sẻ.
Lễ trao giải MTV Movie Awards được tổ chức tại Los Angeles vào ngày 10-4, lên sóng trên kênh MTV. Năm nay, Dwayne Johnson và Kevin Hart được giao đảm nhận vai trò chủ trò.
